POWER PORTER is a lithium-ion battery designed to store electrical energy and provide DC output. It maintains an electrical connection with the inverter.
Electricity generated by the PV system is managed through the inverter and stored in the connected POWER PORTER. When power is required, the energy stored in the POWER PORTER is converted from DC to AC by the inverter and supplied to the household electrical system to power home appliances.
